Dillo i18n, a.k.a. Dillo with tabs and some frame support. Built on r121 and seems to run fine.

EDIT: That's dillo-i18n_0.8.6_armv5tel.ipk

[span style=\'font-size:14pt;line-height:100%\']
Octave
 [/span]

(link above) is the "mostly MATLAB-compatible high-level language" for numerical computation and modelling.

Couldn't find a version that worked well, (or even at all lately.)  Older distributions for the arm4 processor can be found here.   I compiled these binaries in the same manner, but with the newer compilers and optimizations.
i.e. CFLAGS="-O2 -mcpu=xscale" etc.

Tested in beta1.1.0 on an SL-6000.

[span style=\'font-size:14pt;line-height:100%\']
Versions:
 [/span]
(link above)

2.9.9 is the "development" distribution (more complete).  Installs to approximately 37MB.
2.1.73 is the "testing" distribution (seems to be a little faster) Installs to approximately 80MB.
2.0.17 is the "stable" and obsolete version (not included  here)

Notes:

1.) For now, you may need to do go to the location of installation
Code: [Select]
cd  (CF, CARD, ETC) /usr/local/bin
and make the binaries executable, since they might not be executable by default.
Code: [Select]
chmod +x octave-2.1.73
or
Code: [Select]
chmod +x octave-2.9.9

2.) If you're only installing one version, you'll probably want to symlink the version name to just "octave" since it doesn't do so by default.

Code: [Select]
ln -s /usr/local/bin/octave-2.9.9 /usr/local/bin/octave

3.) I'll post the  octave-forge packages here when I get around to making it into an ipk.

Sorry if this is a repeated package, hope it's useful.

Here's three small packages, all have been optimised for the zaurus:

[span style=\'font-size:15pt;line-height:100%\']Elinks 0.10.6[/span] a useful, text-mode only version of Links with tabbed browsing, but has support for nearly all protocols, and I've successfully used it to access both Gmail and Yahoo mail (use their 'alternate' login when the page asks you).

Note: I built it first with javascript support, but it would always give a relocation error when switching to any page  So this has been re-compiled without js support. I left the man packages in, as it is rather full-featured and you might like to read them first

It can do SMB, NNTP, Gopher, irc, telnet, mailto, HTTPS, CSS, tabbed browsing, supports archived attachments... just see the screenshot
With RXVT, also showing the 'alternate' colour scheme.

With a far more 'basic' console - VTE.

Next up, the latest [span style=\'font-size:15pt;line-height:100%\']Links 2.1pre26[/span]. Again I compiled it with just about every option (this time js is working ) It still can't access Gmail, though it does do Yahoo mail:

And lastly, [span style=\'font-size:15pt;line-height:100%\']Lamip 0.0.3[/span] a command-line music player, that will play MP3/MP4/WAV/OGG/SPEEX/AC3 and has support for URI and playlists. It can be expanded to play other formats by compiling more plugins. Start it with 'lamip -n filename' or see lamip -h for help.

Note: I repackaged this - it's not my own compile, but it works wonderfully, so I thought I'd share

I am completely new to making ipks, so bear with any errors  Also, I think I've managed to make working icon/.desktop files for Elinks/Links, but there are no menu entries - that you will have to do yourselves. (I don't use Matchbox/Openbox, so I've no idea about those entries ^__^)

Oh, and if there are any dependancy issues, please let me know O_o;;

Hi,

KPhone is under development again. (See http:////sourceforge.net/projects/kphone)

It is now divided in two application. KPhoneSI is for SIP.

It worked in both direction (calling end being called) in my quick test. Let's test it.

some more packages from me

Just a notice ... strip your libraries from debug symbols. They will take 2-3 times less space:

evolution-data-server - 7.2mb usage in /usr/lib vs 3.3 mb stripped. Repackaged version 6.4mb vs 2.3 with all things stripped and few unneeded stuff (for example *.la files) removed. Do you really have THAT much space and memory to not optimize them?

EDIT: Your ROX package was wrong. It could not find the correct binary when started.

Here's the real one: http://z.drun.net/packages/rox_2.5_armv5tel.ipk

Please! Really! check your packages! It's not the first time I fix them

[span style=\'font-size:14pt;line-height:100%\']Zangband 2.7.5 Preview 1 (New!)[/span]
-- Now with bigtile option (and lots of bugfixes)! No more slender matchstick figures. Good for Z!
-- Homepage: http://sourceforge.net/projects/zangband/
-- Packaged with finetuned launch script (zangband.sh); default set to XAW mode (which i find faster than X11) and linux8x16 font (best choice on Z AFAIK).
-- Compiled with gcu, gtk (still can't fix the oversized window), X11, XAW and XPJ (kinda crappy iso) display modules. tcl/tk mode runs in trial builds, but with tons of errors. I suspect it's broken tcl/tk when compiling for pdaX (see another thread)
-- Depends: ncurses

 [ Invalid Attachment ]

Small tip: If you don't like the cursor getting in the way, you can always turn it off in the Display option ( "=" > Display option > "e" )

Enjoy!

This time I've compiled a few things to make the zaurus prettier

[span style=\'font-size:16pt;line-height:100%\']Tango Iconset[/span] - the Freedesktop standards compliant iconset, optomised for a gtk/xfce environment. Just uncompress and drop it into either '~/.icons' or '/usr/share/icons' and edit your .gtkrc-2.0 file with this line:

Code: [Select]
gtk-icon-theme-name="Tango"
This weighs in at 8 meg, so feel free to delete some of the unneeded directories - 'emotes' and 'status' for example - to save some space.

Pcmanfm using Tango iconset and smooth engine.

KDE users can still use this set, but please download the 'icon-naming-utils' and run it over the directories within the Tango folder to enable the correct icons/symlinks for a KDE environment. Please use the command :

Code: [Select]
/usr/local/libexec/icon-name-mapping /usr/share/icons/nameoficonset/sizedir -ctypedirie; '/usr/local/libexec/icon-name-mapping /usr/share/icons/Tango/16x16 -capplications'

Note: Icon-naming-utils depends on xml-simple perl extension, perl5 and xml-parser (last two are available from the feeds).

[span style=\'font-size:16pt;line-height:100%\']GTK-engine-smooth[/span] - another very fast and pretty engine, similar to Clearlooks, but around long before it

Depends on GTK 2.6 and some appropriate 'smooth' themes

[span style=\'font-size:16pt;line-height:100%\']PyPanel[/span] - if you are a fan of this panel bar, or already have python2.4 installed, then this is a good alternative to fbpanel/matchbox panel. Highly configurable and useful, it will work with matchbox applets and can launch apps directly from user-configured icons.

Depends on the additional library 'python-xlib'.

[ Invalid Attachment ] PyPanel with custom app launchers and using Matchbox applets, Smooth GTK engine showing Smooth Cold-Blue theme.

If you plan on using any of these, please can you rename as follows, thanks to the forum upload renaming bug:

gtk2-smooth-engine_0.6.0.1_armv5tel.ipk, GTK2-Smooth-ColdBlue.tar.gz, icon-naming-utils_0.8.1_armv5tel, xml-simple_1.34_armv5tel.ipk, python-xlib_0.13_armv5tel.ipk, pypanel-final_2.4_armv5tel.ipk

EDIT: Now uploaded a more complete Tango Iconset, please redownload if you find you have icons missing or want a more unified look

build LinNeighborhood which is a nice GUI samba client that is similar to Windows Neighborhood so you can easily mount windows shares with it.

http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/feed/beta3/cu....5_armv5tel.ipk

also updated pcmanfm

http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/feed/beta3/cu...-1_armv5tel.ipk

and updated shared-mime-info also with the latest mime information database from freedesktop

http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/feed/beta3/cu...20_armv5tel.ipk

and lastly, compiled fluxconf which also includes fluxkeys and fluxmenu to easily configure fluxbox

Is there an app similar to LinNeighborhood that will let you browse NFS shares? Should pdaXii13 5.3 users install the updated shared mime types? Thanks.
