Who Are Our Developers?
« on: March 29, 2006, 04:59:33 am »
Hi All

I'm curious, who are the developers for pdaXrom? I'm aware that Laze and Sashz are the primary developers and contributors to the project and based on the latest beta I think we can all agree they're doing a great job.

Are there any other people who're involved in the development, be it the website, code checking, code development, testing etc? If other people are actively involved, it'd be nice to know so we can sing their praises also.

Can other people get involved under the supervision of Laze and Sashz? Perhaps to relieve the burden so they aren't the sole people doing everything, if indeed they are.

The reason why I ask is that this seems a huge feat for just two people and obviously people have lives and things crop up and so on. Delegation is a good thing, as long as there is good management.

from what I know:
- sashz is doing all the job
- Laze has done some of the settings app and the website but is pretty busy professionaly so things are moving pretty slowly
- testers, pretty much everybody on this forum

armagon is working on the oesf.org wiki to provide docs:
* https://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=PdaXrom
I think he could use some help

If you want to do some developments, try to use the builder (documentation on www.pdaxrom.org), perhaps send a mail to sash to explain what you want to do
and then send your work to him (live chat is also possible on #cacko irc.freenode.net)

How about if Laze and Sashz, since they know exactly what needs to be done and how they want it done, detail what they are working on and what they need help with and invite people to assist with their supervision?

Im pretty 100% sure what needs to be done on the website but as pgas posted im extremely busy.

Im looking for people who are willing to work on the website and write documentation etc. - i think we will be sticking with drupal for CMS right now.

Definitely happy to help on the website, howtos and content in any way I can.

You may have noted from my other posts that I'm technically unsavvy. So I'd be a hindrance more than a help on the technical side, but I'm happy to test anything that needs to be test on a C1000.
