theKompany.com MIA??
« on: February 20, 2004, 09:35:55 am »
Has theKompany.com (tkc) taken down their web site?

I\'m in Japan nad haven\'t been able to connect to their site for 2 days now.

The mailing list was closed down again after too many people started complaining that the tkcMail app still doesn\'t have the long promised IMAP support.

Maybe he spat the dummy big time and took down the site as well??

Can anyone else connect to the site, maybe the link from Japan to tkc has gone bad.

I can\'t get to it either, from Kansas, USA.

It isn\'t the first time that it has gone down for a day or two though.

I\'m sure it will be back. Shawn has bigger fish to fry than dumping his web site just because we whine on his mailing list.

I accessed the tkc mailing list archives ok at around 6pm GMT yesterday, but now everything seems to be down and I\'m in the UK.

Maybe they\'re having trouble with their webserver or are suffering from a DoS attack? The DNS entry is still there.

Netcraft does not have any history for theKompany\'s server.

still down - this morning in East Coast US.
I just hope it is a server glitch and nothing else, since theKompany has a lot of other products which must be vital for them and not just the Sharp Zaurus based embedded apps.
