[solved] Erratic Cursor After Screen Rotation
« on: April 03, 2006, 09:37:19 pm »
Anyone else have this problem? If i reboot and log in to X (any WM does it) the cursor is accurate and nice and smooth. If i rotate the screen to portrait mode the cursor is still perfect but when i switch back to landscape the cursor jumps all around the stylus point and its almost impossible to use. If i switch back to portrait mode it works fine. The only way to get the cursor to work in landscape mode again is to restart X. I have search around the forums (which the search engine sucks) and google and i cant find anything to fix this or even anyone with the same problem. I didnt have this problem with cacko or oz so im pretty sure its no a hardware problem. Any Ideas.

Problem solved! I was using the fvwm-hinge program form zumi's fvwm-pdaxrom package. I setup some scripts in /etc/sysconfig/clamshell to do what fvwm-pdaxrom was doing. Now the chkhinge program works just how i want it and no more mouse problems.
