The goal of the wiki is (IMO) to allow comprehensive docs to be produced and then probably moved over to the openzaurus.org website once they are finalised (as finalised as docs can be anyway) - it might be better to perform the translation at this point, once everything has stopped changing significantly.
I agree with you. My idea is translate documents more or less stable such as installation guides. I think is not posible translate all the doc (a wifi is a "free" media and everyone can modify it).
Right, I'd love to have the Wiki translated but I wouldn't even know where to begin with that. Anyone have any experience with this kind of thing?
The best method to obtain experience is working on a think. For example:
- Translation of Installation guide for all the models (except C3200).
- Brief of device characteristic is limited now, this a candidate for a future translation.
- FAQ: future work, it would be useful with a group of peopple summarizing topics (this is a hard work on some forums).
- Development: Future...
- Style guide: this topic would be interesting.
I find a problem with translations. It should exist a system which relate original and translated documents. Now OpenZaurus wiki is the base system, but "translated wiki" can create their own doc and this doc won't exist on the original wiki...
This a funny thing
