Hey,hey, hey!!!!!! I'm proud here, i' m proud there, let' s finish this stuff pleeeeeeZe! Is it possible that when someone do credits to another one, everytime the same???!!!!
One cannot discuss about things that come across the OZ and PdaXrom that is suddenly war, bah.....!!
I refresh alwas the same thing, all the people work on things done by other people.
Is the open environment based on that?
It' s a chain, Linus made Linux, other guys made drivers and distros, other made utilities.
We all know this story.
As Laze said, we behave a little like children sometimes.
I think we have to concentrate better on the develop.

Hopefully more on-topic:
Has anybody figured out why the screen becomes so dim and can't be made more bright with "setfl 6"?
Also, Has the Shift and FN keys as left and right mouse button modifiers swapped?
FN-screen tap now seems to be the middle mouse button.
I had the same headphone issue on OZ, maybe a deamon neads to be written to fix this?
Is there any work in progress on new applets for CPU control, lan-wifi, USB etc, would it be helpful if I had a crack at these for the 2.6 kernel?

Quick status update from Sash - he has fixed the exit bugs and a couple of other small things. He is working on look & feel and wifi utils - and is hoping that he also has time to fix the card storage kernel module today too.

So there you have it - he is working hard ...

Thanks for help Hrw, it works. No I saw that "6" is not the maximum and for me "20" is optimal... but now I know how to change it.

Users must decide for OZ or pdaX ...    .... yeap kernel 2.6 has many patchs from OZ team and many others from others PC distros and individual people .... and credits for pdaX with kernel 2.6 .... is for all people... but who join all in a alternative distro was sashz....    credits for pdaX 2.6 is for he... yes there are many works of many peopleo arroud the world... we know it....

Thank you so much! I really appreciate everybody's hard work.
Does anybody know where firmware for hostap wifi CF should be placed for this beta?

EDIT: It looks like lots of the required stuff for hostap to work has been left out of this. beta, like hostap_cs.conf in /etc/pcmcia.
Does anybody know of a package I could install to get this, or how I can fix it? I'll experiment in the mean time,

OE/OZ repository is open for anyone. pdaX repo is closed and only Sash has access to it. He release dump of it from time to time as pdaXrom-builder.

So I see small difference..

Hi,

I figured out something. It seems cpu scaling isn't actually scaling yet. I checked the current cpu scaling_freq and it's always 416 even when under 99% CPU load.

How do you enable cpu scaling in beta 4?

I can't use mplayer with bvdd... It can't fount /dev/bvdd
Can't use InfraRed (no ircomm)

P.S. He he! Caught another bug... With suspend or with X... If you leave Z for a lot of time (around 2h) - after wake up it shows black screen (lighter then if screen turned off). ctrl+alt+backspace - works...

Sorry to add anything else to your agenda sash... but is there a zgcc.img put together for beta4... I assuming the old one wont work do to the kernel upgrade...
