PDAX11 great - needs doc!
« on: February 26, 2004, 04:49:56 am »
I just downloaded and flashed the new ROM (needed to anyway, the old one had crashed).
Lots of nice things at once: text login, monitor, console and battery monitor on the task bar.

Can\'t say much to stability - However I lack informations (mayne I was too dumb to find it or it is not yet online): In USB Device  configuration there is a \"storage\" option. What does it do?
QT Config has a too large window, can\'t see the bottom (should I use some hotkey to resize?).
There is a \"System overclock\" app but I would not dare to try it without mor infos.

Other than that it seems fast. Qt seems to be the base, I haven\'t tried gtk based apps yet.

Anyway, great work. Looks like I\'m going to have to give money again to support

I got to go on record and say the new pdaX rom works great on my SL-C700 as well!!  Amazingly fast, and I got it to connect to my TREO600 over IrDA for internet.  No problem with the Touchscreen as did prior versions.

Thanks a bunch everyone and look forward to more packages in the feed!!  Definitely be donating some $$ for this effort!

:Is it possible to get vncviewer running on the new rom? (can I just take the older .ipk feed version and install):
SL-C700 (1/13/03)  pdaXrom  / chroot debian
Sandisk 256SD / Microdrive 1GB
Ambicom WL1100C wifi / Treo 600 CDMA IrDA / Magellan 315 GPS RS232
