I must admit im having a lot of troubles using oz 3.3.6

i cant get ssh to work, trying to ssh in, no go.

Tried installing the 3.2 hotplug to fix usb problem. Installed but got some symbolic link messages. I already did the /root symbolic to /home fix

usb doesnt work obviously, and cant connect via cradle to sync.

You might have to install with the --force-overwrite switch to make sure it\'ll overwrite the old files. Or even better uninstall the old one first. Then reboot.

I run 3.3.6pre1 and have no problems what so ever.

Tell us more.... and we\'ll see what we can do sort you out.

yes i did uninstall the old one first... I know its experimental but seems to be a lot of issues with getting this working just to point of synching and using the network.

After installing the new hotplug scripts everything was fine for me.

What kind of machine are you trying to connect from (and for that matter, what kind of Zaurus do you have)?

The 5600 ROM is more experimental than the 5500 ROM (mainly because few - perhaps just one - of the OZ developers have one to test with).

I assume that you\'ve followed the usual procedures - checking \'ipconfig\' output, trying to ping, checking for new USB devices in device manager. Let me know what you do or don\'t find.

i had a lot of troubles with 3.3.6 too, mostly hard lock-ups on a 5500 without doing much of anything or even on a network.  Matter of  fact, I had so much trouble, it lasted less than 24 hours installed and I was quickly testing different roms cause I had just got a 5500 so didn\'t take the time to try to figure out why.  I liked all the reviews of oz , so maybe I\'ll try a different version.
