Pdaxrom Ko/pi & Ka/pi
« on: September 16, 2006, 07:24:53 am »
I am finally getting pdaXrom sorted out to my liking and finding the software I need, but still need a few pointers.

One in particular is KA/PI I have KOrganiser (KO/PI?) installed from one of the feeds, not sure which one it came from, but even after adding all of the pdaXrom feeds to package manager I do not see KA/PI.  Even doing a manual search of the feeds web pages I cannot find it - am I just blind?  Is it there?

Also, what is the difference between these packages and the KDEpim package - or is that the one I am after.....?

Questions question questions!
My new toy: C1000/pdaXrom/xfce4 and Rox - now I just have to get it all working!.

Other stuff: Axim x50v and a brace of Newtons....!

The package kdepim consists of the individual programs - ka/pi (address book), ko/pi (organiser), the mail client, and in some packages pwmanager as well.

I think the one that you want to install is found in this forum. It has a modified kopi alarm so that the alarm functions properly - ie wakes up the Z a few seconds before the alarm and plays the alarm (if kopi is running at the time). You would also need to install atd for the alarm to work.
