Sl-c860 Beta1 2 Gb Sd Card Driver Backport
« on: October 16, 2006, 03:24:28 am »
Hello

I think the beta1 is the most stable and most usable version for older zaurus models like
c750/c860. I dont want to upgrade to another one. But I heard of a working sd card driver for 2 gb cards. It works for more recent zaurus models but there is no backport to my model. Is anybody working on that?? Would be cool to have this in beta1 for c860

Thanks
Enno

the simple answer is no, it just is not possible without source code to port the Sharp SD driver written for Cxx00 models to the Cxx0. it might be possible to fix the driver that was written for beta2, but beta2 was so unstable it got removed.
SL-C3000 - pdaXii13 build5.4.9 (based on pdaXrom beta3) / SL-C3100 - Sharp ROM 1.02 JP (heavily customised)
Netgear MA701 CF, SanDisk ConnectPlus CF, Socket Bluetooth CF, 4GB Kingston CF,  4GB pqi SD, 4GB ChoiceOnly SD, 2GB SanDisk SD USB Plus, 1GB SanDisk USB Plus, 1GB Transcend SD, 2GB SanDisk MicroSD with SD adaptor, Piel Frama Leather Case, GoldX 5-in-1 USB cable, USB hub, USB mouse, USB keyboard, USB ethernet, USB HDD, many other USB accessories...
