This thread is for sharing your favorite games. Links are always nice.

I personally like Atomic Tanks, mostly because it's a great time waster and doesn't take long to start up. Being able to add your own weapons is also nice.

Found here: http://zaurus.vivaphp.net/pdaxrom/misc/
SL-C750- pdaXrom beta 1 (mostly unused)
Current distro: Gentoo

I always like the classic doom2 and quake2 available from the main pdaXrom feeds.

haven't had much time to play many games on the Z yet, but ideas of what is playable and fun on the Zaurus are more than welcome and when I find some time, I will try some of them out as well

As far as games go I really like doing emulators.  I wish I could find a really good Atari ST and Amiga emulator.

I think adding more MAME support(better rom support) would be fun to play with as well.

There is very good hatari (ST emulator) with good performance but you have to use usb mouse to avoid unsync cursor and touch screen.
Also Basilisk is emu with nice speed for older MACs
I didn't find good emu for amiga, all I compiled or tried were very slow.

My favorite games are DROD and Filets.I'd play DukeNukem also but it has problem with save/load and Quake II with mouse control. Warcraft II through stratagus is a bit slow.
I like SNES (Final Fantasy series) and recently abandoned zxpsx I'd like to see save state and switch CD features to be FF VII fully playable.

I'd like to play Knights Of Xentar (old DOS RPG) through dosbox but is toooo slooow to play.

Maybe start emulator thread would be also good idea

I'm not a gamer at all...
but I liked lbreakout2 on Cacko ROM. Is there an lbreakout2 for pdaXrom as well?
Should be compilable because there are lmarbles and ltris for pdaXrom and they seem to be pretty similar.

[span style=\'font-size:21pt;line-height:100%\']ScummVM!  [/span]
As far as I am concerned it is the best thing since sliced cheese and no Zaurus is complete without it.

It's an interpretor for the old LucasArts graphic adventures like Sam & Max, Indiana Jones, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island.  They also extended it to Simon the Sorceror, Broken Sword, Inherit the Earth, Gobliiins, Beneath a Steel Sky and Flight of the Amazon Queen.  The publishers also those last two games also made them available for free download on the ScunnmmVM site so you can enjoy them without searching eBay or your attic/basement.

Finally, the ScummVM team is currently working on adding support to it for some of the Sierra games (like the early King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest and Leisure Suit Larry), Legend of Kyrandia, and I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream which should be done for Version 1.0.  They are currently at 0.9.1 and pdaxrom has 0.9.0 here.

Get it now before the Three-Headed Monkey™ gets you.

I really love scummVM as well.  I wish it would support more of the Kyrandia series.  I would love to play hand of fate on the zaurus or on ScummVM in general.

I also would love to see a emulator that is able to do the "newer" Seirra games like space quest 4 and 5, quest for glory 4, as well as kings quest 5 and 6.

I have to great games playing in my head:

abuse-sdl will be a killer if it can run in pdaX...
http://www.labyrinth.net.au/~trandor/abuse/
only if my build doesn't segfault ...

Starfighter is a great 2D shooter game with a nice storyline, music and graphics. Originally coded for 800x600. After some changes it can run in 640x480, but there is still some 20% things to get all the graphics properly displayed ...
http://www.parallelrealities.co.uk/starfighter.php
I'm no programmer so it would be awesome if someone could offer their skill and kindness to help...

The Hand of Fate will be supported once the orignal is fully working.

FreeSCi is what you need for those unfortunately that project appears to have stalled.  Here's to hoping that the FreeSCI comes to the same decision the Sarien team did when they decided to reroll Sarien under the ScummVM banner.

I am looking for recommendations and links to packages for the following type of games:

tetris: I think ltris will do the job unless someone can recommend something better

solitaire: or just any card game you can play against the Zaurus

space invader: something with a little spacecraftp/plane shooting incoming objects

any other fun small games that only take up a few hundred kbs?
