« on: April 16, 2007, 03:04:05 am »
Hi,

I have downloaded pdaXii13-custom.tgz several times but I keep getting

tar -ztvf pdaXii13-custom.tgz
drwxrwxrwx root/root         0 2007-04-13 16:49 custom/
-rwxrwxrwx root/root   8351516 2007-04-09 18:15 custom/AbiWord-2.4

gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

Seems we got a new version - thanks again Meanie. One other question is updater.sh a standard shell script? I've tried downloading it a couple of times and just get jibberish in my editor (vi/emacs/gedit....) Also release notes talk about 5.3.5 but label on hdimage-full says 5.3.5 - is 5.3.6 out?

The reason I was interested in updater.sh was trying to understand the boot/flash process - I noticed you were asking about uboot - have you any c3000 specific info?

Thanks

build 5.3.6 has been moved to the stable release page. build 5.4 will be uploaded to the testing page soon.

updater.sh is an encoded shell script. you need to use the endecsh tool to decode it.
