I dunno-- CF BT seems to run about 40-90 usd (you can find 'em for more if you want, of course) and USB BT runs 10 to about ...25 usd? The problem with the least expensive dongles is that they tend to be be from small scale entrepreneurs in asia who are mostly aiming at a windows market--they build something very inexpensively and make sure it works in windows--on a Z that can be a problem.
In fact, I started this thread to address that very thing, only in terms of BT CF. I figured I'd ask around for which cards (and chips?) seem to work without fuss and deliver good performance before I went and ordered one.
That is part of the problem, of course. Being in Alaska I have really limited options for buying stuff even as specialized as a BT cf card. We have the a few of the chains-like officemax, best buy and compusa (and walmart, etc..) some computer stores mostly devoted to more mainstream pursuits as games, business or multimedia..camera shops, etc. I tend to have to buy online, and given the distances involved a mistaken purchase can take well over a month of mailing (1-3 weeks each way, usually--not to mention handling) to sort out. For something I'm anxious to use getting it right the first time is fairly important.
Interestingly, no one has yet mentioned a Bluetooth cf card that works outta the box in pdaxii13 (or beta 3).
The sitecom 501 card is being sold "for the zaurus3200" on ebay by for about 45 usd. Only 1 post on oesf from a year ago asking if it worked..no reply. Any one have an idea?
edit: lmao--just found this:
https://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Bluetooth_Card_Support a nice list of just what I was looking for.
