Does anybody know whether there exists a ppt/pps viewer for pdaXrom like under sharp/cacko rom?

This would be very nice!

As far as I know only two options exist. There is OpenOffice, which is all but unusable on the Z especially when opening large Powerpoint files, and a crappy java applet that is almost as slow and doesn't accept input well. See this thread: https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...7&hl=powerpoint for more information.

I got the java applet to work using jamvm through the command-line using the syntax "jamvm -jar /path/to/tonicpoint.jar /path/to/powerpointfile". It is very slow, has no editing capabilities and does not really respond to any input. Your best bet may be the joke in the linked thread of converting all slides to jpegs and viewing them with gqview.
