You're not going to shift it at anywhere near that price.  The PMA400 is a 4 year old device, and wasn't that amazing then.  Things have moved on massively since then so I reckon you'd be lucky to get $50 for it now.  Someone on here was selling a job-lot of BNIB SL5500s for $80 each.  Sorry to say, but that's the price of progress!
Your best bet is to keep putting it on eBay, but be realistic with the reserve price.

Actually, I am going to lower the price to $200 + shipping since I do need to sell the item. It is worth the price mostly due to the 30Gb HDD, and a good media player to boot. Not too crazy with Ebay lately, had some scammers (Nigeria, UK) winning the auction and refusing to pay after trying to change the payment arrangement. For safety, I do prefer the use of PayPal or similar to protect th transaction.

OK - now you've got me curious.  I haven't been paying much attention to the PDA market since the C-1000 & cousins came out.  I was vaguely aware that Archos had some entries that people are running some of the Zaurus software on, but I have no details.

Could I potentially replace my C-1000 & 20 GB .mp3 player with this, and cart around only one device?

Thanks,

David Bowden
