New Mylo From Sony
« on: January 25, 2008, 06:33:34 pm »
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores...552921665301416

3.5" 800x480, wireless b/g, backlit sliding keyboard, 1.3Mp camera,

no sign of FM radio, gps, bluetooth.. and has memory stick storage.

software includes Y! and Skype messaging, netfront browser.

so, interesting that Sony even tried a second one.. also interesting that they delayed the Skype kit for the PSP, so maybe it was to not steal the Mylo's thunder? I wonder if the PSP and Mylo teams at Sony never talk to each other!
Gemini 4G/Wi-Fi owner, formerly zaurus C3100 and 860 owner; also owner of an HTC Doubleshot, a Zaurus-like phone.

perty...but yeah...

memory stick?, no bluetooth?

Price is decent, and it would have been cool about 3 years ago, but not now.

My guess is that, as the mylo 1, it runs linux but the user does not have access to the OS. This could have been so much better.

yeah, you'd think Sony could learn from the nokia tablets and use the community to make an interesting device really great... whereas it's an expensive applicance that does only what they designed it to do. Mind you, having bought a Palm Clie long ago and seen Sony's disdain for their community of Palm developers, this doesn't surprise me.
