Need Help Concerning Sd Card, Usb Etcx2

well im having a hard time browsing my files (in SD card) in my SL - C3100
tried transfering file through Putty... but i cant connect it (the instruction told me to change password by typing in "passwd" in the terminal but after typing "passwd" in the terminal... the terminal doesnt seem to input the keys in (i type but nothing appears)... after stalking the forums... i give up, and then try to find a something that can revert my old sharp rom... then i failed misserably again... need help in this things guys... i cant even use my zaurus for mp3 T.T

After using passwd, it's normal to not see any keypresses. Just make sure you type what you want your password to be.

There are directions all over for reverting back to the Sharp ROM. Just look at the "Is your Z dead" thread pinned in this forum.

well... how about my question in browsing through the files inside the hard disk and SD card? (found SD at /mnt/card)

hmmm... connected it through the a Windows XP, found the SD card as (Canon_Dc E:) but i cant write files in that card... "Media is write protected"

can you help me

Does the SD card have the write-protect switch flipped?

Yeah it has a write protect switch... tried switching it back and fort... its the same...

only have usb cords so this is the only thing i can do to transfer files from my PC to zaurus....

and also how can i put files inside the drive of my zaurus?
