Reset Button In Netwalker?
« on: April 11, 2010, 07:08:01 am »
Well, I'm not that old but cant see anything what might be a reset button.
I did not pulled that rubber plugs from the bottom of the unit.

Is there a way to do a hard reset? Where is the reset button?

I did not see any reset button.

Maybe Netwalker is different from Zaurus in that way. Netwalker is more like laptop, perhaps?

But even a laptop can be disconnected from battery or just have poweroff by 4 second press of the power button.

Anyway. Netwalker works very nicely. I would like na BT onboard and second usb port in big socket but it is very decent zaurus replacement

You can force a power-off by holding the power button for 4 seconds like on a regular PC/laptop and then turn it back on. Cumbersome, I know, but it works. I couldn't find a reset button either.

Onboard BT would be nice, yes but you can connect a tiny USB adaptor which is barely noticeable. You lose an USB port though. I wonder why they didn't integrate a second full USB port, space constraints perhaps?
