i\'ll bite... how will this help?  I did notice the bits on rotation, which has been heavily requested for pdaXrom.

well, for one, it\'s a resource where people are actively probing the device.  Things like screen rotation, accel, zomming, hardware cursors, etc...
I don\'t like the caution - -but that\'s probably a leagal boilerplate thing.

ps: freebsd doesn\'t support recording on my laptop .. after 5 years.  It supports playing audio, just not recording. if more people were
poking at the chip, perhaps I\'d have recording now.

What we could be looking at is full hardware accelleration as well as being able to take advantage of the resolution switching.  So for a media perspective, the device could do full screen video at 320x240 (which is much faster) as well as allowing for the hardware video accell.
