This app includes a configuration wizard that helps to setup the desired keyboard layout.

This app has been released by a company called Private Planet. Apparently, it has been indicated as "one of the Planet Computers investors" by Planet Computers themselves (source: Facebook's page).

As of NOW, the above app has two reviews: 1 five-star and 1 one-star. However, neither explains their reasons why.

I never liked those half-reviews, where you don't have any idea why the reviewer liked or didn't like the product.

Many thanks to Janko!
I'll put it in my "try list", when I have Gemini...

Updated Gemini Keyboard application on Google Play

Hi all,

It seems like the keyboard applet still needs some work on my Gemeini with the
physical US keyboard and the US keyboard s/w settings...

I'm on version 1.0.12 and there is some weird interplay between the OS,
goggle's keyboard and the Gemini Keyboard app where the chars above the numbers
row come out inconsistently.

Sometimes each number key gets this respective char above:

   US English
   1| 2# 3\ 4<nothing> 5< 6> 7[ 8] 9{ 0}

Instead of this printed on the keys:

   1! 2@ 3# 4$ 5% 6^ 7& 8* 9( 0)

At other time it seems to work fine.  Is this a conflict between the keyboard
"language" settings of the Gemini app and Android's?

Still testing...

Thanks,

PJS

This indeed sounds like two conflicting layouts... added to the issues' list.

It looks like eedesign hit the same issue with the US keyboard and posted
the solution that I also stumbled into...

 https://www.oesf.org/forum/index.php?s=&...st&p=284792

With that. it seems like my keys are mostly working correctly.

An exception:

The TAB / CapsLock are spotty...  Depending on the app, frequently hitting the
Tab key seems to engage CapsLock instead of tabbing.  You have to hit it a few
times to get a tab, and then Fn-Tab to get the CapsLock unlocked.

Thanks,

PJS
