Can't find Apps Manager, appears the only way to remove apps is via the Play store. No way to force stop an app other than rebooting Gemini.

Automatic rotation of the home screen does not work, setting by long pressing blank area on home screen & selecting Settings.

This is standard for Android. You can also see all your installed apps from the Settings>Apps menu - you can uninstall or disable apps here too.

To remove apps try Settings, Apps. You can remove and force stop there.

Press the Planet key, Planet Icon on the screen, there is a rotate option there.

Alternatively, App Rotate, which provides, apparently, per App rotation settings.

Regarding screen rotation...   Aside from the AndroidOS settings, you have
to go into the App Bar settings and turn off BOTH "force landscape" and
"force portrait".   Then screen rotation works fine (for me).

Good luck,

Well I'll be blowed. Thanks very much for that. Been nice to have known that two weeks ago.

Perhaps some of these solutions / resolved troubles (aka: tips, trick and tweaks) ought to be culled frequently from this forum AND added to PC's Support-Troubleshooting pages.

If not, many like me will be searching both places for answers, fixes, workarounds, etc.
