New Android update available

I expect it's too much to expect that file attributes for created/modified/accessed are retained when copying files. The only Android devices that I know of that handle the attributes correctly are the Nexus models and the OnePlus devices. Let's hope Planet/Gemini can get this long standing Android glitch sorted for us Gemini owners.

I noticed a difference: correct device serial number is shown, not 0123456789ABCDEF

Other changes (on my first-run x25 Gemini):

* Hitting enter (instead of space) after unlocking with PIN now works

* There's a "Gemini settings" submenu in Settings: currently it gives options to show app bar on Open (lid, I assume), go to desktop on open, and answer calls in speakerphone mode.

* Version number is still 7.1.1 and Android security patch level is 5 February 2018.

* Firmware Update still comes up in portrait, but seems (?) to have slightly better localized English text.

Anyone else see anything that's changed?

I just updated mine (x27) through OTA. Hitting Enter after unlocking PIN still does not work for me most of the time.
Previous PDA's: Toshiba e740; Toshiba e755; Psion 3c; Psion 5; HP Jornada 680; HP Jornada 720; Palm Tungsten T3; Palm LifeDrive; Nokia E90 ; Gemini PDA

I got the same issues with the rooted firmware (no dual boot).

Looks like you answered my question before I even asked it.  Was worried doing the OTA update might muck with the rooted image.  I hope Planet provides guidance on updating when rooted.  Although at least if re-flashing is required and wipes data, having root means one can use Titanium Backup or the like before/after flashing.  I certainly would like to get up to more recent security patch level.

Glad I checked here before applying, I am rooted as well. Not loving Planet's lack of communication about updates honestly. The OTA tool is also flagged by Sophos as malware...
