mic not working

Is the mic working in linux ?
Tried audacity and phone dialer without success.

Hi galodoido,

I think those are two separate problems. I can answer to the first part of your question. In order to activate the microphone, you need to activate it as a primary source on your mixer settings. I used pavucontrol to fix this. It might not be installed by default, but it's one apt install away. If you are using LXQt you can set it as your default mixer from the Volume Control applet in your task bar. Anyway, when you open pavucontrol, you should see a tab called "Input Devices". Pick "Input from builtin mic (plugged in)" from the list and you should be good to go.

Thank you so much ! Worked with audacity like a charm . Not for phone dialer.
