Came across Memento Database (https://mementodatabase.com) today, and it works great for creating custom databases on the Gemini! Can sync back to Google Sheets, which is nice. Took me more time to figure out what fields I wanted in my database than it did to put it together.

Apparently they make a Windows version, too, if you need to get stuff back to a PC.

thank you for sharing. I'll give it a try, it looks great. This is exactly what i was looking for.

I installed it on my PC, my tablet and my phone and it works great, sync in the 50Mb cloud space that comes with the free version. This will be one of the first apps i will install. Very easy to use. Something i didnt find on other DBses i tried in the past weeks is you can protect each Db with a password.

On the keyboard setup page of Planet there is this picture:

At the right i see a planet app called Data, but it its nowere to find, so i wonder if any one knows what it is (looks like a Db) or were to get it. Its something i want to try out

I haven't used too many databases in Android, but the one I've been using since the PalmOS days is DDH Software's HanDBase.  They have a version for Android and iPhones/iPad.  My PalmOS databases can still sync with Android and Windows client.  I think you can even have it sync with MS Access, ODBC, etc.  It's not free, but is pretty solid for my use.  They have demos for different platforms on their site:

As i mentioned before, The gemini comes with and app called Data. This is mentioned in the official user  guide on page 109. Its not on my Gemini and its not to be found in the app store, so were is it hiding? Does anyone knows?

It's in development as far as I know. Should be similar to the data app which came with the original Psion 5

A good thing about HanDBase is that it can work with its own desktop version for Windows (and desktop HB works well in WINE for Linux).  There is apparently a Mac desktop version, too.

So it's easy to swap db files b/w all devices. When I was going back and forth b/w PortaBase and HanDBase, I made a *.bat file that could convert en masse .csv files to HB files.

If someone needs that converter, pm me.

HB support has always been great. The developers gave me keys to a free-of-charge beta Symbian HB, never released, but it worked flawlessly on my Nokia E7.
