Debloating the Gemini Android OS?
« on: June 25, 2018, 11:31:04 am »
(Sorry if anyone doesn't like the term "debloating" - the Android on the Gemini is actually very close to stock, but debloating is the standard term for removing any pre-installed apps that you may not want for one reason or another.)

I was wondering if anyone has gone through the list of apps on the Gemini and taken any decisions as to which ones are "safe" to remove? I realise that this is somewhat subjective, e.g. some people are happy with Google apps, some aren't. It would certainly be useful to compare notes on this.

how were you going to remove the apps? were you simply going to disable them, or were you intending to root the phone and then use, e.g. Titanium Backup, to deinstall apps from system?
