I bought the WiFi+4G model. Before I go out and get a SIM card, will 4G (data only) work with DebianTP2? Will cmst allow me to connect to VZW in the US?

In Brazil  ( Debian Tp1 with updates ) works really well with my operator "vivo" and doesn't work with my older operator "oi" . I don't know about sim card in US.
