Which Office App to use?

Of the MS apps, Excel is quite useful.

Word is however very limited (unless you have a subscription): no track changes, you cannot insert page break, etc.

In Powerpoint I have no idea how to edit.

I tried OfficeSuite which has most of the functionality I need, and you can actually buy it (not just rent it). However, the app is very sneaky, and you need the font package to use it at the end (without fonts nothing can be formatted... no printing... etc), so double the price in Google play.

I have figured if I set the smallest width in the developer options  to 511, then OfficeSuite gives a normal office like menu structure.

That's a nice layout. Congratulations on figuring it out.

FWIW, here's a TextMaker HD screenshot.

This Status Bar Mini is a nice stuff. BUT there is no clock in the version I just installed from Google Play... How did you got the clock working?

Try Date, and then go through the options to choose h:mm a

If that doesn't work, post back and I'll try to upload my config--the app allows a backup/restore

You can click off the ribbon in OfficeSuite to get more screen space:

Textmaker is very nice, but the error with the arrow keys is annoying.

In addition, it does not have Hungarian spell check, which I need. (I have however only read this in a comment because I could not install the trial and only the basic version worked for some reason.)

Can you post a screenshot showing how Textmaker displays spelling errors and track changes (these are off in the basic version)?

Yes, you're right: there is no Hungarian spell check. Bummer. Are these what you want?

Thanks.

What is the "smallest width" you used to get all the menu in the screen?
