Hi, has anyone tried to setup a guest account on the Gemini? After "add new user" the Gemini Wizard asks for language und keyboard but the final "start" button on the thank you page does nothing. After a short while the Agenda app chashes in background and the Gemini app bar shows up one time. I can open the notofications and enter the settings and thats it. No launcher, no app bar. Just useless.

Hmm, seems like you are right... I have been thinking of setting up a guest account, so that I could hand over my Gemini and let people use it without worrying to much about what they might screw up. But it seems it is impossible... I tried adding my Google account to the user, but it didn't seem to matter... (Didn't try to restart after that, but I tried restarting before I added the account, and that didn't help either.)

So it seems they take the "Personal" part of PDA in the name of the device REALLY seriously!

Just to pile on I ran into the same issue the other day and have created an account here just to watch this topic.

If anyone else has this issue and finds a workaround to it please come back and tell how you did it.

So far what I've tried; when the launcher bar appeared briefly I took the opportunity to open chrome before it crashed, opened the Google Play store, then installed and opened a 'home' selector app.

Unfortunately that wasn't the only issue (although it does appear the Gemini didn't have a home at configured at that point of the new account setup).

My two cents: A couple of years ago I used to have a second account on my phone, today I don't need that feature anymore and I didn't try it on my Gemini. Nevertheless I'm sure it works if ...
...your Gemini is rooted
...you downloaded and installed "SwitchMe Multiple Accounts" from Playstore (Fahrbot PRI). To remove ads you can buy the key for €2.09

Hope that helps and bye for now  Fred
