I never had this problem, however I might be able to help you fix it. Do you have a debian install as well? If you do, then you can boot into debian, and look at the sailfish files. They are in /.stowaways. You can look at/mount the sailfish firmware image you used to flash the device and compare to what is in stowaways. You may find a corrupted file. Other than that, use the stowaways trick to back up your data and then reflash and restore......
