When I was lurking earlier that I \'thought\' there was a RDP client for Zaurus that can connect to Windoze terminal services/RDP?

If true does anyone have any info/experience?

Also if true does it work with OZ or is it specific to a certain ROM?

Thanks,
Robert

I use qtrdesktop on OZ 3.3.6 using the compat libs: http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=1146.  I actually use the IPK from http://os.american-data.com/rdesktop/ports...ts/qterdesktop/ , which is called qterdesktop as opposed to qtrdesktop.  Not sure what the major difference is, but it seems to run a little faster than the one directly referenced from the ZSI.  Both IPKs are hosted on the same server however.

Thanks for the link!!!

Do I need to install openssl & qpe-terminal to get qtrdesktop to work?  I\'ve tried only installing desktop & doesn\'t work.

Which ROM are you running?

For me, with OZ3.3.6pre1, I don\'t need qpe-terminal in any case as I already have a terminal, if you already have a terminal you\'ll be fine without it.

I tried qtrdesktop & openssl but it wouldn\'t work (it runs, but nothing happens), so I moved to opie-rdesktop which works fine. If you\'re using OZ I\'d go this route. Otherwise, yes, you will need to install openssl.

WinXP, Mandriva

Lardman,

Yups I\'m using, or should I say trying to use, OZ 3.3.6pre1 on my 5500.  I didn\'t know about the opie-rdesktop - I\'m gonna look for the IPK on killefiz.

Thanks,
Robert
