Who is behind zaurususergroup.com?

Hi, this is really inquisitiveness.

Who is behind zaurususergroup.com? I mean what is the company name and the main system administrator?

What is the goal of this web site and what is their hidden desire? How do they finance this big web site?

I\'m just curious.

Offroadgeek AFAIK, no company or profit involved, AFAIK.
Left Linux and Linux PDAs... sorry, got boring.  Switched to Mac.

Those guys: tapjpa, offroadgeek, Taim, Foxdie have apparently the same illness as a few people, always wanting to help.

Keep up the good work guys!

Offroadgeek, you said that if a new operating system emerge for the Zaurus, you will be ready to support it too (as the others). If \'a new os\' worth the trouble, I hope that what you said will still be true.

It\'s time for me (as I always ask for things to change) to stop winning and try to see what can really be done. Guys from the dark side (as they are calling themselft on this forum) have begun to irritate me and the fact that Sharp HP or Motorola aren\'t understanding what we are looking for amplify the angryness. pdaXrom is trying to build something alone and OE build system is too complicated and heavy and won\'t provide a solution for a unique Linux PDA os.

I\'m waiting for the Trolltech meeting and annonce may 10. Finally, I\'m not hoping to much from it anymore. Just what they write on the net: QT4+KDE revamp (and not QTE4+KDE/Qtopia fusion).

I\'m new to Zaurus and I really appreciate that this site is here. My C860 should be on the way soon and I don\'t think I would have taken the plunge without all the information that I find here.

I use a Dell Axim as my main PDA and just have not found any new PocketPCs that excite me enough to want to change. My plan is to continue to use the Axim and treat the Zaurus very much as a project, to see how close I can make it to my perfect device.

With no background in development I\'m sure to have some pretty basic questions along the way, although I know I\'ll find the answers to many here already.

One unique thing about ZUG is the lack of ads, rather nice actually although not good for revenue. I can\'t imagine that the English speaking Zaurus community is the largest target market.

I will certainly sign up as a contributor when that option is available. I get the feeling I would be well shafted if this site wasn\'t here.

This is a great resource and a nice community. I\'m glad I found you folks!
C860, Cacko Elena ROM
Cheers!
David

Indeed, we\'ll do what we can do support any new OS or project.
