I\'ve got a 5500 and I think Sharp 3.13 with Cackos updated kernal is the best so far.

I got a Zaurus SL-C700 with its original Sharp Japanese ROM but I\'m still undecided which English ROM to use. I\'m downloading right now the Cacko Zaurus Qtopia ROM 1.21.

Well for the 5600 I would say the Sharp rom, all others have issues/are not perfect.
SL-C3100 happily Dualbooting Japanese Rom 1.02 and Debian Eabi
Replaced internal CF with 8gb seagate cf hard drive
Ambicom CF GPS
CyberPower battery powered USB hub
D-link DCF-650W (MAN THIS THING IS HUGE!!)

white has c700 (looked at his previous posts)

white_angelbreath, the cacko rom you installed may be the best english sharp rom as the tkcrom is now considered stagnant.
I'm now an iphone user and use my zaurii as serial terminals, perl and shell scripting and when I need 640x480 screens

Yes she does a C700, I think (if she can copy the files to SD and go through the trauma of flashing) that the Cacko ROM would be best with Hotfix A applied.

TkcROM looks stunning but I can only find old apps for it and it doesnt seem like there is much development going on.
