bad news . I got home today hoping to find my c760 delivered, because it was scheduled to get here today. well, no package. I check the tracking number on www.ups.com, and it says it was delivered and that they left it on the doorstep.

It either got stolen or they delivered it to the wrong house, i\'m hoping wrong house, because I didn\'t even find the little note they leave on the door when no one is home to accept the delivery.with this and zaurus.com going down, i am just pissed off today.  :x

omin0us, the same happened to me too once, they just post that its delivered, but the van had never come to my house since my wife was in that day.

We immediately followed UPS to one of their delivery stations and picked it up from there. I was that desperate...

well it looks like it will be opie for my zaurus.
Glad I didn\'t  spend too much time re-writing notessync, it would be for nothing.
I\'ll just make it work with opie

What do you mean by Opie. Will Opie be able to sync with Lotus Notes? How?

Hi Everyone,

It is true that I have left Sharp to pursue another opportunity.  It has been a pleasure meeting you all through the DevNet and even in person.  I feel like I have \'bonded\' with many of you and wish everyone the best.

Unfortunately Sharp and I were not a good match.  I don\'t want to get into the details, but probably many of you could understand my frustrations.  And this new opportunity is better suited for me.  Who doesn\'t love Sunny California?  (this is rhetorical

In any case you can reach me at spencerhuang AT hotmail DOT com.  Please do not ask me anything related to Sharp or future products as I cannot comment on them (especially now that I have just left).  Again, it\'s been a pleasure and I hope to keep in touch with many of you.  You may see me at future trade shows or events.

All the best.
Spencer

well, even though we are all sad to see zaurus.com and the forums gone. I wish you the best of luck with your new endevers. I have a feeling that the comunity will keep going strong here and the ZUG forums will become the new place to come for help. along with the IRC channels on irc.freenode.net. namely #openzaurus, #zaurus, #handhelds.org, and #opie.

Okay, don\'t tell me I\'ve been waiting all this time for 2.0 of NotesSync, and now I need to put Opie on my Z....

How would you like to see a couple of hundred hours of work shot?
Actually I stopped work on v2 last month when I found IBM has a module for  Websphere Everyplace that uses SyncXML to sync the zaurus to Lotus DOmino or Exchange. AccessClient loads SyncXML, DB2 and PIM interface on the Zaurus.  I just need a spare server for Websphere Everyplace to test it out.

That kills the enterprise market and now Sharp kills the consumer market.

hmm, its a shame that Sharp no longer wants to support us. I really do hope they will at least get us a copy of the archive of the forum. So that we can have that for reference of old questions. I really hope this community doesn\'t die either. Now its all we have. Hopefully spencer stops by and gives us a little more info.
There is a lot of pesimism going on here.    Maybe I\'m just overly optimistic, buy nobody has actually said that sharp is no longer supporting.  All  that has happened is that the site has gone down for a day or 4.  That has happened before, and will happen again.  Just my 2 bits.

Yet the signs are not really good neither. If a company holds their web presence in high esteem, they can restore their machine quicker than that.
