SL5500 apps on Sl-C860
« on: June 09, 2004, 09:35:47 am »
Am I totally out of sync? Why do the VAST majority of the Zaurus apps fail to ruin on my SL-C860?

I get a \"please wait...\" in black on a white background (in portrait mode), before it just disappears and I am back to the Normal Zaurus Screen.

Highly frustrating!!!!!

One of the VERY few applications I have working is FXConv, and its superb - I just wish I get some other apps working!

Is their a compatibility mode???

ANY help appreciated!

(all the syslog shows me is \"change resolution =]\" infomation, nothing else)

Most should work. Try running them from the command line to see whether there\'s a problem and what it is.

I also run Cacko 1.21b on my c860.  I have had very few problems with other Z apps that worked on my 5500.

be sure to check off the \"display with magnified screen\" option when you right-click (tap and hold) on the icon of the said application.
Often times that solves the problem.
