Time reset problem
« on: July 22, 2004, 12:16:02 pm »
My c860 came back from Sharp Japan repair center (problem with the SD card retention mechanism, now fixed) with a weird symptom.  It resets itself to July 1, 2004, particularly when re-starting after a suspend and turn-on.  I also noticed that there are now two Date/Time icons in the Settings tab, one in English and one in Japanese (different icons, but pull up similar but separate system time settings).
Anyone have a possible solution?

Thanks,
Mike

IF you are planning to reflash it, then that will probably fix the problem....

What ROM are you running?
"You Shall Not Pass"
....Gandalf, Lord Of The Rings

I'm running the stock Sharp ROM which was preloaded on the c860:
Qtopia 1.54 (3/16/04) and Sharp ROM 1.31 JP.
