Hi  I just get a SL-5600 and i wonder if the applications compiled for SL-5500(ARM prossesor) can run on my SL-5600(Intel PXA250 prossesor)

Yes they can (if you're talking about instruction sets; lib compatibility between various ROMs is another matter entirely).

The SA (5500, 5000D) runs ARM4 code; the PXA runs ARM5 code and is backwards compatible.
