please forgive my super lame question   but i installed the kismet ipk and i am assuming it is a terminal app becuase i do not see an icon for it.


what is the command to startup kismet in a terminal windows?

also in the package manager kismet shows up in the available list  -- what is the difference between vailable and installed

There is some documentation on Kismet and pdaxrom here:

The command to run from terminal is 'kismet'.

Available [to be installed] v. [actually] installed

If kismet still shows up as available, your kismet install may well have failed.
