wlan card works under QPE but not under Opie
« on: September 25, 2004, 05:50:39 pm »
I decided to try out the QPE version of OZ and was happy to see that my Intersil based wlan card came up nicely (as eth0) once I assigned the orinoco driver to it.
So being the masochist that I am combined with the fact that I could not get anything to install without 6 million missing dependencies, I decided to try out the Opie version, with no success on the wlan front.

I have tried
modprobe orinoco_pci and inserting the card, with no success, ifup wlan0  fails withset failed - no such device.

Any sugestions ?
