carn't get me 5500 to boot :(
« on: October 20, 2004, 04:58:21 pm »
Hi

have recently moved house and just got round to digging out my Zaurus, not used for about 3months.  Put it onto charge for a good 12hours or so, came to switch it on and nothing

The orange charging  light is on, have done a hard reset, and have also tried reflashing it.  The reflash goes threw as normal both orange and green lights on for a good few minutes, do a reset and try turning it on and nothing    It worked befor we moved and it was well packed.

Any sugestions to get it working? or is it an excuse to fet a new one

thanks for any help or suggestions

The charging light did not turn off after 12 hours of charging?
Maybe the batery is bad or the charging system is bad. In either case,
you will have a batery with no charge which means you will not
be able to boot.

The way you describe it, my guess might be the battery.
