My "missing/to be fixed/wished" stuff
[C860 + Kathrin RC5]
- X server stops catching keyboard and mouse events suddenly. The only thing to do is to kill X via ssh or removing the battery and turn the Z again
- Gaim still segfaults when messaging a MSN user.
- A system monitor that shows the "real" CPU load
- In "Lan & WiFi", when you create a new profile and then go to the next tab (tcp/ip & dns), the "Obtain tcp info auto" option is blank, but the fields "ip address", "subnet mask" and "gateway" are disabled, so you cannot define your own settings. You have to check the "Obtain tcp info auto" option and then uncheck it again in order the disabled fields become available. The same goes for the next section (DNS), and the next tab "Wireless". I know this is not a big problem, but seems it's easy to fix
- A easier way to switch between network schemes. Maybe click in some kind of network status applet (say, the wireless applet) and pick up the desired scheme from a list in a popup
- A way to blank the display but not to suspend the pda.
- A taskbar would be nice
- xkbdlauncher script gives a few errors and exits (actually, the keyboard applet doesn't launch any keyboard)
- When switch to portrait mode, the applications font increases (is this a feature?) and cause some apps to behave anormally. in Galculator, the text in the buttons are half displayed. KA/PI resizes itself constantly about 4 times and the toolbar become almost hidden when maximizing.
don't know if i am repeating the same stuff posted before by someone else, but i've just installed RC5 this morning and that was what i found
