Is it possible for some kind soul to package emacs for pdaXrom? I have discovered
nXML mode
for editing my docbook files, and it states that it doesn't work with XEmacs.
Unfortunately I'm a noob and not yet at the point where I can try compiling for Arm. Is it possible to extract the emacs binaries from the arm debs, or will there be unmet dependencies?

It seems the mec and nec from here work on my SL-5500 with pdaXrom.
I had to soft link libncurses.so.5 to .4

Never mind, when actually trying to use mec, I get:
mec: relocation error: mec: undefined symbol: __modsi3
Oh well.. John
