Fluxbox is a lightweight window manager for X that can be used instead of the one pdaXrom uses. It can be configured more and some folks like to use the same window manager on their Zs that they use on their desktops.
You might want to concentrate on getting around in the "stock" pdaXrom first before branching out in other directions. Using Fluxbox, Fvwm or Xfce (2 other window managers that work with pdaXrom) will require tinkering on the command line.
You can find Fluxbox in the "unstable" feed at pdaXrom.org.
