Help From A Japanese User? Please?
« on: January 09, 2005, 01:16:18 am »
Hello, I've been trying to get this page, http://www.poseidon.co.jp/4F/alucard_s/as1.html, through translation engines, as well as the text, but it doesn't appear to be working. I've fallen in love with those damnable glasses, and I was just wondering if anyone here could tell me the cost, and how much it costs to ship them to Canada. I e-mailed them some time ago, but I'm assuming at this point that they couldn't understand my e-mail sufficiently enough to respond. Many many thanks in advance, I just didn't know where else to turn.

Sorry, but I'd say that you're probably out of luck.

I only looked at the site briefly, but it appears that they do not ship internationally. On top of that, they don't even accept credit cards... only Japanese C.O.D. and bank transfers from national banks.

By the way, those glasses are about $250 U.S.  (*ouch!*)

Not quite the cost I was expecting there. Oh well, I'm grateful. Maybe when I have money and a friend in Japan. Thanks for your help.

You will also find similar glasses at most outdoor adventure shops.  They are more commonly called "glacier glasses."  Cool design.  A little too small for those who depend on actual perscription lenses...
