Pulled the 760 out of my draw of discarded goodies, had a snoop around the forums, since its been a while and wow..what do i find!!

Yep, outstandingly fun stuff getting it all to work on my 760. Amazing job cortez and hehe +1 !!

Got wpa going nicely through the command line using an ambicom card and slammed in a host of security tools just for amusement value and now im busy installing away.. Things are a bit slow but its a 760 with new life breathed into it for kicks so im very happy.

Pidgin segs out but plenty of alternatives.. What browser do you guys suggest?

hostap Injection drivers for the latest aircrack-ng dev suite would be nice.Still trying to get that working on 2.4.18.I think its becoming a 5year mission :G:.

funny you should post this.

I was looking to get something streamed yesterday. I managed to get sound using mplayer but apparantly it didnt like the windows media vid codec or something like that....VLC just gave up instantly..I figure mplayer could handle the stream with its up to date version, but i have an old version for cacko..

Yes, thanks for the time capn'. I tried as well on the advice of speculatrix using his vmware dsl dl found here. Kernel can be found to in one of the other directories.

No luck for me of course, then again im fairly new to this and its highly, almost definitely likely i did something wrong.

It would be great to get injection working on cacko.

2gig sandisk standard works great on the 760

1983360 kb out of 2gig with fat
1952499 kb using ext2 before running a full card including debian chrooted.

if you can get the patched injection drivers working....

You could try using aircrack-ptw. Make sure you dont collect ivs though with airodump, use the cap file instead, so ya dont use the --ivs.. Its quicker by far and you can crack wep with around 20k collected packets.

Ya Airodump command is fine.

When i did use the old aircrack-ng, i used

aircrack-ng -f 2 -a 1 -b APmac -n 64 (filelocationname).ivs Can switch 64 for 128 too.

-f is the fudge factor, can try up to 4. If still no luck try disabling the korek attack by adding -k (from 1-17).

Still, now aircrack-ptw is out now, no need for that really

(Still trying to get injection working on cacko using the 2.418 kernel )

Thanks rolf. Ive embarked on a journey of learning (much thanks to Speculatrix for the help) but its gonna take a while before i get to grips with anything worthwhile, although progress is steadily being made.

Its possible alot more people would produce stuff if there was, and i hate to put it like this, a spoonfed step by step tutorial on setting things up specifically for cacko to the end result. It would only help the cacko community im sure. those who have yet to get to grips with this side of the zaurus.

Im not sure if this is the right thread for 'a would like compiled question' but would anyone fancy kindly taking the time to compile the latest aircrack-ng with injection drivers for the 2.4.18 kernel, if so would be greatly appreciated.
