General Discussion / PC-Link Error

My CL-860 has started having a glitch

I'm afraid I got it a bit wet (don't ask how !!!)

Thankfully the thing lives (good old sharp build quality)

However I keep getting an error message pop up -

"PC-Link Error Occured. Please confirm the connection"

The PC-Link app also opens up.

Problem with this is the thing stays on and drains the battery (doh!)

Any ideas on what might be going on

This give you a \'Whats Next Screen\" that I think is better than the Today app

Does anyone know if you can get the \"Require Passcode at power-on\" to accept keyboard input.

Sometimes its more convenient to type than to use the stylus

OR

Doeas anyone know a better way to secure the zaurus from casual observers ??

I\'ve searched the forum and software index but can\'t seem to track down a VNC server that is confirmed as working on the C860

Can anyone point me in the right direction ??

Sharp ROMs / Pretec CF WLAN Card

I\'ve got my super new C860 and the super cacko rom, however my rubbish Pretec CF WLAN card does not appear to be working like it did on my trusty old SL5500

Has anyone else got a Pretec CF WLAN card working with their C series
and if so whats the trick to getting it working ??

Ok so I got my great Zaurus C860 - First thing I did was flash thekompany ROM

Looked good, liked it, thought I\'d try out OZ 3.5.5

Liked it too, but fancied going back to thekompany

But now the problem

I can\'t seem to re-flash back to thekompany ROM.

Does the OZ ROM do something specific that I need to correct in order to go back to thekompany ROM ??
