Symbol/Socket WiFi @ ShirtPocket
« on: May 26, 2004, 11:09:05 am »
Has anybody bought a Symbol/Socket WiFi card from www.shirtpocket.co.uk?

They are currently advertising them at £44.95, but state that they have not tested them on a Zaurus.  I\'ve emailed them to ask if it\'s the prism chipset, but they haven\'t answered.

Given the price I assume they are old surplus stock and therefore compatible, but I still don\'t watn to risk the money...

I also bought a Symbol/Socket WiFi card from ShirtPocket.

With an SL-5500 it needs a change to a kernel with support built in like the Cacko one.

On my 860 it work fine with PDAXROM, OZ and Cacko straight out of the box.

...oh ShirtPocket service is excellent, as every one else also seems to think.
