TODAY app
« on: June 15, 2004, 08:16:07 am »
Hi!

I am looking for a \"TODAY SCREEN\" app for the C860 that displays your meetings/to-do\'s/e-mail on a single screen.

I have tried the OPIE today screen, but when running it un-magnified, the line of text that indicates the owner is \"clipped\". Also, it does not seem to update my to-do points.

Does anybody have any hints or know of a similar app?

Thanks!!

OK, shameless *BUMP* here, anybody using OPIE TODAY on normal Sharp ROM, or some similar app?

Thanks!

You could try KO/PI

This give you a \'Whats Next Screen\" that I think is better than the Today app

Hi pavement

Thanks, yes I have seen that - what I like about the OPIE Today app though is that it sounds like it is \"configurable\" in that you can write new \"plugins\" to perform different functions.

Not a major issue though, more a \"nice to have\" type of thing ::

Grab the opie code for the today app (it\'s very simple).

Grab the dtm2xml scripts/code (see the devnet), I\'ve never looked at them so I can\'t comment on how complex they are.

Merge the two. Shouldn\'t be too hard (he says).
