Strange.  I got it working most of the time with alpha3.

A few times when I restarted bluetooth, I got "BCSP initialization timed out".  But I remove and insert again, everything work fine.

I have a 3000 with a Socket BT CF card rev H too and also removed alpha 2 and the csr package before I installed alpha3.

tumnus thanks!

Everything work, no errors during installation.
I couldn't test the PAN profile, but all others work well on my Socket Rev H card.

I'm typing this in my car with bluetooth connection

Gaim.. kind of work.  but still very buggy.  I had MSN, AOL, ICQ work on my SL3000 (which is fun when you are on the road with bluetooth phone), Yahoo which I'm unable to make it works, i tried both scs.yahoo.com and cs.yahoo.com  I don't even bother to use extra functions on this gaim, it's not very stable on zaurus at this time.

I had Doom Demo and SNES emulator installed, which are good enough for mobile fun.
Dragon Quest 6 alone took all my time.

I use KO/Pi suite, don't know which contact appplication you are using.

hope this help

I use Qkonsole instead, I like the Full screen mode.

I can play mpeg-1/2/4, wmv movie.  I have Kino 2 v0.2 beta (SL-C7x0) with mplayer 0.93-3.31.

I had to uncheck the two "enable overlay" in the kino2 preference.

Some of the movies play very smooth, some of them play slow.

most .wmv movie have no sounds.

X/Qt / X/qt And C3000

Here is my ~/.xinitrc to start debian
Code: [Select]
xmodmap -e "keycode 69 = comma slash"
xmodmap -e "keycode 70 = period question"
su -c 'chroot /mnt/card/home/zaurus/debroot/ /startdeb'

#rxvt &
#blackbox

Within xwindows, you can use the command line program "xev" to determine the keycode of different keys on the SL3000 keyboard.

Or you may create .xmodmaprc file to customize your other keymaps.

Because only / and ? are important to me so far, so I add only these two lines.
All other keys should work ok.

Hope this help
