Okay - that's nice to hear. But it does'nt help me. Which scripts and modules are responsive for the whole irda stuff?

BTW LBreakout was the other game that looked cool but isn't in the game list    and occ is a good idea. I would love to be able to play Chess

Search for Lbreakout in ELSI, the port was done by somebody else.

It seems IrDa is completely broken in Cacko 1.22a lite.

Neither I can beam anything (IrDA not enabled error), nor I can receive anything, nor I can connect via IrDa phone to internet.
My Desktop PC does not recognize any IrDA device - the Zaurus IrDA port seems to be dead - with stock ROM the IrDA port was ok - so it is not a hardware fault.

Does anybody know, how to uncover this problem?

Yes - you have installed a wrong SDL. Use the search function in this forum and search for "W100 SDL".

There is a simple but very usefull ftp client in midnight commander.
theKompany offers a FTP client, little buggy, but easy to use.

I have tested aircrack only under cacko 1.22 lite.
Maybe it is incompatible with pdaXrom.

I have unchecked pdaXrom in ELSI during upload.

For pdaXrom it should be better to recompile this package because it could be significant faster (gcc 3).

1. Check if the game supports VGA resolution

2. ./configure --prefix=/usr

3. Searching for screen resolution constants in the whole project and set them fixed to VGA.

4. Searching for the initial SDL_SetVideoMode() and remove all further SDL_SetVideoMode() calls because it should be called only once (the app screen flickers heavily if you ignore this step).

5. Searching for SDL_WaitEvent() and SDL_PollEvent(), removing the mousebutton stuff (especially for second and third mousebuttons), inserting hokeys instead, enable the cancel-key everywhere, this key should be traversed through all eventhandlers because Zaurus applications should be closed when cancel is pressed.

6. Rarely you have to modify some graphics.

Call make now and cross the fingers.

Round about 50% of the SDL games will work after this modifications.

Hi,

I have successfully compiled many SDL games for the Z. But most of them runs to slow. Has anyone an idea howto speed up SDL apps?
SDL games like Quake runs fast enough to play - so there must be a way to speed up games which are much simpler than quake.

I've uploaded an update for ltris with a missing file and removed the /usr/var stuff.
But ltris neither depends on libqsfepj.so nor on libkke.so.1.
Are you shure you got correct sdl / sdl-mixer versions for your device?
