I'm having the same problem, but only when using MS Word.

Yes, you may need something thicker than just a piece of tape to fill up the space between the space bar and the button.

I'm so glad it works now, without working space bar the keyboard is hardly of any use.

I've found a simple way to fix the space bar issue, just put a small piece of tape next to the little clamb in the middle:

Yes, on the Astro it seems to be a problem in Word only (I can't change the settings as far as I see).

And it looks like it's a Microsoft-issue... at least on some laptops:

Another keyboard issue is the 'del'-button: when pressing this it deletes the last 2 digits, not just the last 1, why is this? Looks like this is not a hardware but a software issue.
Is there a way to adjust this? (US keyboard).

I don't think I have this ghosting problem, but the keyboard doesn't always respond very well, especially the space bar, I have to press really hard to make it work. Sometimes this goes for other keys as well. Not sure if it's a hardware or software issue, because the slower I type, the less issues there seem to be.

Cosmo Communicator - Android / eSIM wallet crashes after QR code scan

Further information:
I've added the eSIM GSMA Root CI Certificate (from https://www.gsma.com/esim/certificate-issuer/) to the Trusted CA Certificates of the Cosmo by converting to CRT using openssl and install from SD-card:
Code: [Select]
openssl x509 -inform PEM -outform DER -in CA.pem -out CA.crtThis did not help at all, eSIM wallet still crashes.

Are you still having this problem? Today I have received and installed my eSIM. I managed to set the profile, etc., and my phone number also worked on eSIM. But I could only receive calls, not make any calls from my Cosmo, nor use data, the APN wasn't set either (nor could I manually save it), so somehow there was no connection to the network.

It turned out that after reboot I need to wait for the Cosmo to ask for my eSIM PIN code first before I enter any other codes (anti theft and phone lock code). That did the trick.
I'm now using my Cosmo with dual-SIM

Cosmo Communicator - Android / V23 update available.
« on: July 07, 2020, 11:55:58 am »
Update went smoothly. I was surprised by it, clicked 'update', went to the kitchen and heard my phone reboot. And voila, v23.

Set CoDi power save mode to on, can't wait to see if there's any improvement to battery life.

Cosmo Communicator - General Discussion / Remote File Location

Either use Google Remote Desktop to access the file you store on your PC or use Google Drive. There must be one central location where you store the database.

I don't think I fully understand what you mean, but Jellyfin, EMIT and Plex come to mind... check these out and see if they could be what you're looking for.

Or, use Google Remote Desktop.

Cosmo Communicator - Android / V22 is out.

Yayyyy, `firmware flashed successfully´!! Now let´s see how long battery will last with CoDi on from now.

First updated the Android firmware, which went quickly and without any issues. Now updating CoDi, which failed the first time, but is now on 65%. Did not need to set it to DND mode. Fingers crossed.

Edit: Failed... And now hanging at 19% too. Did what mibry did, quit update and restarting now.

Aaaaand.... failed again... and again...

:-( ... "resources flashed successfully" (100%) after turning off the CoDi, which took quite long. Then it continues updating "flashing firmware image" a lot faster and ends in a `flashing error?.

If you are able to get to the recovery screen, shouldn't the option for "Wipe Data/Factory reset" be enough?
[/size]One would have thought so, but, alas, not. I tried that and then rebooted. It still wants the *** PIN. (Possibly an anti theft measure.) I see a return to Hong Kong in my Como’s future.

Yeah, I encountered the same issue when I bought my Cosmo second hand. Had to contact the seller for the anti-theft code, which he gave me. Even after a factory reset this anti theft code stays 'active'. Which is what it is supposed to do, but quite a problem if you just forget the code.

Cosmo Communicator - Android / New v21 Problem
« on: May 06, 2020, 11:56:13 am »
The issue I´m having is that (seemingly at random) my phone switches to vibrate. I think it has to do with calendar. I don't have any settings set to 'do not disturb' in my calender. I've checked all possible settings in my Google calendar and the Planet Calendar. And when it's set to vibrate I may miss phonecalls too (although it actually hasn't happened yet).

Cosmo Communicator - General Discussion / QR Code Scanning

In some smartphones, support for scanning QR codes might be built into the stock camera app.

I guess it's usually built in in the app that you use. If you want to pay for something you use the QR-scanner in your banking app (which, although image is distorted, in my case works on the Cosmo).
